WOW, what an amazing weekend!

The Coordinator and members of the HARTZ Committee attended the 2014 Regional Arts Australia Summit. This year was Kalgoorlie’s turn, and there was outstanding performances in a variety of forms, from shadow puppetry to the stunning visual effect of Yarn-Bombing in one of the main streets, as well as a number of hands-on workshops at which the delegates got some fresh new ideas to take back to their organisations.

Art enthusiasts are being invited to step forward and become a member of the HARTZ committee.

Who can nominate to be a member?

Anyone from the community with experience or an interest in the arts and creative industries sector can nominate to be a member.

The inaugural REstARTZ Recycled Art Competition was a huge success. We had over 20 pieces of art on display and a fantastic turnout for our first Awards Sundowner.

We also received some great feedback on the night – if you would like to give some feedback about our first Recycled Art Competition please email the Coordinator.

Photographer Needed

We are currently seeking a photographer for a couple of hours on Friday 19 or Saturday 20 September to photograph the REstARTZ artworks; and Sunday 28 September for our REstARTZ Awards evening. For details please contact the Coordinator.
